Welcome to the Northeast Reining Horse Association (NERHA) web site. Founded in 1975, the NERHA is an affiliate organization of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). The NERHA typically hosts 8 to 10 reining shows throughout New England each year, as well as an annual awards banquet and clinics with top NRHA professionals. What is Reining? It is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse through a selection of patterns which include circles, spins and sliding stops (and so much more) within the confines of a show arena. Start Time: 7:00 am Saturday
Where: Falls Creek Farm ~ Oneco, CT
Online registration will close on Wednesday, September 22 at 3:00 pm
Friday, September 24th:
There will be paid warm-ups from 1-5 pm;
Members ~ $20 and Non-Members ~ $25. The arena will be open for riding from 5-7 pm.
Don't miss the "Sit-A-Five Bareback Ride", starts at 7 pm;
Two divisions ~ Youth and Adult.
Winner gets 50% of the proceeds; 50% back to the NERHA

The VRHA is pleased to host an NRHA Judge's Applicant Seminar on November 6 and 7 at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia. If you are interested in becoming a judge or want to ride a more technical pattern this is the clinic for you.
This seminar is limited to 50 participants so get your registration in early.
